My entire life has been been rooted in serving. This history of service to my community includes: the Apex Parks and Recreation District Board; the Jefferson County Community Services Advisory Board; the City of Arvada Human Services Advisory Committee; and until last year, the Colorado State Board of Pharmacy.
My husband and I have raised five children here in Arvada, all of whom graduated from Ralston Valley High School.
I served in PTSA, as team mom to a number of athletes (including my own), as well as chairing the athletics boosters at RVHS. When my kids graduated from school I began volunteering with CASA of Jefferson and Gilpin Counties, advocating for kids as they traveled the path of their dependency and neglect cases with the county.
For more than 30 years, we have owned a family dental practice and I understand the importance of small businesses in making a solid economy. I also understand the challenges small businesses face through shifting economies.
I want to be a citizen legislator, who is routinely in contact with my constituents. I believe government should serve the people, not the other way around.
If you ever have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me. In the meantime, I will be out walking door-to-door and attending as many community events as I can possibly get to.
